Opoku Leaves Sfax For Al Sadd

Ghana's youth international, Opoku Agyemang, has moved to Qatari side Al Sadd from Tunisia's CS Sfaxien.

The 19-year-old, who scored in the final of the Confederation Cup last month, signed a four-year deal worth a reported $3.3m.

Agyemang's goal helped Sfaxien retain the title in Sousse as they took the trophy with a 2-2 draw on away goals.

He had become a key player in the side after joining it from Ghana's AshantiGold in January 2007.

He also took the Golden Shoe award at the 2005 African Under-17 Championship. Despite not being called up for the Black Stars yet, he is expected to feature in Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac's plans in the near future. —BBC
