Ayeeko!!! Ghana

And it is a gooaaaaaaaal. Agogo has done it. Ghana 2 Nigeria 1. The Black Stars have made it to the semifinals of CAN 2008. That was how the sports commentators said after the match and it was real. In fact, Ghana has really made nonsense of the Nigeria bluff for scoring the first goal. Even with ten men, the 11 strong and well built men from Nigeria could not withstand the might of the Black Stars. It was like David before Goliath and indeed David has once again floored Goliath.

Ghanaians all over the world cannot hide their joy and ecstasy, we have defied their early scare and beaten them. As Alhaji Grunsah, CEO of King Faisal Sporting Club once said in a post match interview when he beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko in a match "This victory is sweet victory."

My word of advice to my Nigerian brothers is that they should exercise caution and dont let the defeat gets so deep in them to do some of the things I am hearing. Why should Nigerians divorce their Ghanaian partners because of this loss. Why we should they kill and maim our brothers from Ghana because of this match. I thought football should even unite us and help us to achieve the aim of African Unity as enshrined sought to do recently in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.

Nigerians prove to us that you are good losers and let the world see Africa as the rising continent.
