This ‘X-MAS’…AFRICANS…BEHOLD YOUR GOD!

In the wake of the Senior World Athletics Championships in Beijing, China earlier this year, and the stark demonstration, once again, that “Judah Can Run” (search Modern Ghana article dd.Aug.15, 2015), we would not have reneged on our mission and leave the conversation there; not before establishing more clearly, through history and prophecy, that Jamaica is in fact Spiritual Jerusalem, hence the subsequent article “From Isaac to Bolt…Journey of the Covenants & the King-Seed Lineage”. Jamaica contains the spearhead of the Tribe of Judah; the story of the Bible is, to a large extent, our story; and, Jamaica is not only the strong little nation to be hastened in this time (Isa.60 v 22), the one within which the Almighty would save his “little flock” of saviours of the world, but also the one from whom the Son of Perdition would come (Nah.1 v 11 & John 17 v 12).

On Sunday August 16, 2015, the annual event held on Jamaica’s north coast, on the grounds of IRIE FM (Grove Broadcasting Co.) in honour and tribute to Marcus Mosiah Garvey, was a really massive one; and involved professing Rastafarians blazing the chalice and spliffs of the holy herb to the glory of our larger-than-life hero. By the following week, in the post fervour swell of that event, an influential Rastafarian was calling into a very popular talk-show to demand that Marcus Garvey be declared as God!

Of course, all this would have already been against the background of us having very powerful professers of Rastafari on radio, who continue to declare the Bible to contain “foolishness”, in spite of H.I.M. Haile Selassie I, the Christ in His Kingly Character, asserting that “It is the rallying point for all humanity”(Important Utterances of H.I.M.). One has gone on to proudly suggest that we “do away with the Bible, and replace it with the Philosophies & Opinions of Marcus Garvey”! Incidentally, the most internationally known and beloved exponent of Rastafari praise and philosophy, Bob Marley, who was born in the same Jamaican parish (St. Ann) as Garvey, had sang, “Give us the teachings of His Majesty, we no want no devil philosophy”(One Drop).

From all of this, one could understandably deduce that many Rastafarians are in major confusion here in Jamaica of all places, as regarding the interface with Garveyism, and that most are amazingly still unaware of a speech made against the Emperor by Garvey in 1937, wickedly lambasting H.I.M. and his handling of the Italian invasion-crisis in 1935-36 (search Garvey against Haile Selassie, The Black Man, 1937). The nature and spirit of this speech should have clearly established that Garvey saw nothing special about the Lion of Judah, that he was of a completely different spiritual root from our Defender of the Faith, and that the mantra of the U.N.I.A. “One God, One Aim, One Destiny”would therefore be devoid of any spiritual reference to Rastafari. Garvey also underhandedly lambasted Ganja, the holy sacrament of Rastafari, in an editorial of his New Jamaican newspaper on August 13, 1932. Perhaps, it might not have suited the political ambitions of the leading Garveyites, to have come clean on the circumstances surrounding these surreptitious deluges by Garvey. Or perhaps, there are some of our brothers and sisters who are on a misguided mission to conceal, confuse and deceive.

But let us not get one thing twisted. Regardless of what racial, cultural and/or religious banner that one may represent, one’s thought and/or action at a given moment can only be to the honour, inspiration and glory of one of TWO spiritual principals, the Holy Spirit of the Almighty, Unfathomable God of Love, Truth, Righteousness, Justice and Peace, and…”The Other Guy”. In New York City, in 1963, the Emperor’s legendary quote to the United Nations was “Until the philosophy that holds one race superior and another inferior, is finally, and permanently discredited and abandoned, everywhere is WAR!” This, to the keen observer, represented exceptional world leadership, and bold, yet dignified and irrepressible diplomacy by the Emperor, who would have been well aware at the time of the imminent threat to the stability in America and the world, by an unruly, super-rich, fast-growing military-industrial-financial complex.

We have come to realize that The Other Guy is really a system, an evil and iniquitous system to facilitate the domination of a relative few over all other inhabitants of the earth. We have come to suspect that, if all in the collective were to do their best for the collective, there would always be peace, abundance and happiness in all the earth. We achieve this only when all humanity commits to the Holy Spiritual Law, which, simply, is to “Love the Almighty God of Righteousness, and to love one another”. Conversely, we only begin to have harmony problems when some begin to focus only on gaining and maintaining self-advantage over the collective. The system of The Other Guy is utilized by the wicked capitalists as well as the enraged seekers of revenge, and pays scant regard for collateral damage to mankind and the environment…this, clearly, cannot be the formula for life on the planet. There is the same great demand for the reparation of the dignity of the oppressor as for that of the oppressed. On another occasion, H.I.M. (the Prince of Peace) pointed out to world leaders that a mere tenth of what is spent on the efforts of war could solve the world’s problems of hunger and starvation.

There are interesting types of differences, like that between ants and dogs, hawks (or falcons) and crows, earthworms and snakes, or lions and wolves, and, we believe, very marked differences between the spiritual disposition of H.I.M. Haile Selassie I and Marcus Mosiah Garvey. We hereby try to highlight a few facts to illustrate this, as follows:

1. The word Ras literally means head in Amharic. It is an Ethiopian title equivalent to Prince or Chief. The name Tafari means One to be greatly respected or feared. Therefore, Ras Tafari, the first earthly name given to Haile Selassie I means Chief Dread, or the Head Dread. Also, the Amharic word Fatari means Creator.
2. The main qualities that the Holy Spirit of the Almighty imparts to the Messiah to make him a leader are (a) Wisdom: prudence in secular affairs, skills in the arts, moral sensitivity, experience in the ways of the Almighty; (b) Understanding: a synonym of Wisdom, ability to discern wisely between alternatives; (c) Wonderful Counselor: ability to give good counsel, the wisdom and integrity to advise others on their course in life; (d) Power/Might: Royal Power and Authority to prevail over enemies; and (e) Knowledge of Yah Almighty: True Knowledge, Intimate knowledge of the ways of the Almighty. The Messiah is uniquely equipped to govern well.
3. The Prince of Peace: Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia remains the only Head of State to have addressed the League of Nations (June 30, 1936…. “When he entered the hall, and the President of the Assembly announced Sa Majesté Imperiale, l'Empereur d'Ethiopie, the large number of Italian journalists in the galleries erupted in loud shouts, whistles and catcalls, stamping their feet and clapping their hands. As it turned out, they had earlier been issued whistles by the Italian foreign minister (and Mussolini's son-in-law) Count Galeazzo Ciano. The Emperor stood in quiet dignity while the Chairman of the Assembly demanded that security silence these beasts for the sake of civilization”) . As head of its poorest member, he was the one to have instituted the concept of the collective security of nations at the League, which later transmuted to the United Nations.
4. In that 1937 speech, Marcus Garvey refused to use the name Ethiopia, which means land of black faces, the name that Haile Selassie I had restored for the Grecian name Abyssinia. He refused to address the Emperor as His Imperial Majesty, referring to H.I.M. as the Ex-Emperor, disdainfully as the little Emperor, calling H.I.M. a coward and a wicked slave master. It is strikingly obvious that Garvey, whose U.N.I.A. had declared him as Provisional President of Africa, tried desperately to undermine the Emperor completely, even, in the bedroom.

   

5. On October 1, 1963, in welcoming Haile Selassie I to the U.S., President Kennedy unforgettably stated: “I know I speak on behalf of all my fellow Americans in welcoming his Imperial Majesty back to the United States. Since His Majesty visited the United States nearly a decade ago we have seen one of the most extraordinary revolutions in history. And that has been the appearance on the world scene of 29 independent countries in the short space of less than ten years, including over 150 million people. The conference recently held in His Majesty’s capital served, I think, to bring together in a great cooperative movement the people of most of these countries. And the success of that conference was due to in no small part to the leadership of our distinguished guest. His efforts to move his country forward to provide a better life for its people and his efforts throughout the world, which dates back over 30 or 40 years. For all of this your Majesty we take the greatest pride in welcoming you here. You do us honor and I can assure you that there is no guest that we will receive in this country that will give a greater sense of pride and satisfaction to the American people than your presence here today. Your Majesty, you are most welcome.”
6. In 1973, President Nixon’s own famous remarks were: “Your Imperial Majesty and our very distinguished guests: As I sat here in this room tonight thinking of this very distinguished company, I thought how fortunate all of us are. This Nation is 195 years old, this house is about 185 years old, and in the whole long history of this Nation, no chief of state, no head of government has been received more often, honored more often, than is the man we honor tonight.

Many of us remember him, of course, from those days when he stood at the old League of Nations as the Lion of Judah, 37 years ago, and captured the imagination of everybody who loved freedom and independence all over the world.

But through the years, those of us who have followed him since know that this man, the man we receive again in this house tonight, stands for far more than his own country, great as that country is and long as its proud history is, because His Imperial Majesty, who for 57 years has been the head of state--57 years--His Imperial Majesty is not only the revered leader of Ethiopia, as anyone who has visited that country knows--and I have visited it twice---he is the acknowledged leader of Africa, and the Organization of African States, of course, is located in his capital.

And so tonight, I could propose a toast to him as the leader of Ethiopia, a country that the United States is proud to have a long and very, very friendly relationship with over the years. I could propose a toast to him as a great leader of Africa, that continent with all of the promise that it holds for the future. But tonight we are privileged even beyond that, because in our midst, here again in this house, being honored more than any man who has ever been in this house, is the senior statesman of the world, and how privileged we are to raise our glasses to the senior statesman of the world, His Imperial Majesty, Haile Selassie”.

A Pyramid Scheme?: Was the U.N.I.A. formed as a Pyramid Scheme? This phenomenon, which basically involves crowd-funding, with the investment and/or income earning benefits expected to be shared by all via an agreed schedule, has been around for a long time, and is the same kind of financial science that has been used to establish the IMF & World Bank, other Banks, Building Societies, Insurance Companies, Credit Unions and the like. In Jamaica, we all know about Partner Draw, with the Banker being someone who is supposed to hold safe custody of all the funds, in between making all payments (draws) in a timely manner. This individual deducts a small percentage of each person’s draw for Banker services.

Most pyramid schemes as we have determined to have come about, have folded, are folding, or will fold eventually, for these are what these highly seductive enterprises do. But, in almost all of these folded schemes, there are numbers of members/investors who benefit greatly while the returns graph is still rising, and there were returns made in some cases, even after the scheme had crashed.

The U.N.I.A. is recorded to have boasted a membership of in excess of five million members, encompassing in excess of a thousand chapters all around the world. Notwithstanding the fact that no African was ever taken back to Africa by the Black Star Line, there was never any payback of funds by the U.N.I.A., and there seemed to have been little or no preparation for the U.N.I.A, in the event of Garvey’s illness or death. Research now bears out the fact that Garvey simply loved to exaggerate, was sometimes inconsistent between different reports of the same issue or incident, and it is very difficult to identify one speech or court testimony of his where the stories and statistics reflect the facts as they had existed at the time the speech was made (search “The Madness of Marcus Garvey” by Robert Bagnall).

The research possibilities of modern technology now enables serious judgment of Marcus Garvey and his U.N.I.A., but, even without same, we would still have been at a loss to understand how, throughout all those years of campaigning and collecting of dues, there was still no MOU with a single African country, no purposed consultation with the Ethiopian throne, and no credible logistical study of the African Continent and/or blue-print for the repatriation. Questions like, why Garvey was a devout Catholic, why he “lef’ Queen Nanny a road, and who named his son Julius Winston could also be posed.

Shockingly, however, modern technology will almost certainly reveal Garvey and the U.N.I.A. as the most elaborate scammer and scam that the world has ever seen!

The “Great Falling Away”& “Son of Perdition”: 2 Thess.2 v 3-4, 7 reads, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way”

Isa.14 v 13-20 reads, “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned”.

Here in Spiritual Jerusalem, God’s elected saviours of the world are mostly hidden in a tapestry of oppression, corruption, extortion, sexual abuse, poverty and drunkenness, while being yet again confronted with the prospect of another masquerade political election, where there seems to be no choice but that between two gangs of political mercenaries, and where the status quo against the African majority can be maintained with the contrived or connived vote of a relative few of these, with some being paid political enforcers in their communities.

The cry of the poor, disenfranchised, majority African people of Jamaica is for a referendum vote to disannul the Jamaican State and Constitution completely; which were clearly instituted against them, and to realize adequate reparation with a view to manifesting The Republic of Kasambu, with a Constitution derived from that written by Emperor Haile Selassie I for Ethiopia….(see “Republic of Kasambu…Open Appeal to President Obama” & “Kasambu...Open Intentions to the Jamaican Government”). .The sound of this cry has, thus far, been stifled by the media here, including some of our best Garveyite friends, even though the case for justice demands its presentation, at the very least.

Know this though; that the Almighty Yah Rastafari is NOT a God of confusion; and that He KNOWS his lost sheep intimately. However, as Isa.30 v 9-10 reads, “That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Is’ra-el to cease from before us”

His chosen servants, though, share in His victory over Death & Hell. 1 Peter 2 v 9-10 reads, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy”.

He has admonitions for the Pastors and leaders! Mal.1 v 6 reads, “A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? And if I be a master, where is my fear? Saith the Lord of hosts unto you, O priests,that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

The Holy One of Is’ra-el answers this question at Mal.1 v 11 & 14: “For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same, my name shall be great among the Gen’tiles; and in every place incense shall be offered to my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.

But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen”.

Eze.34 v 2-10 reads, “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Is’ra-el, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Is’ra-el that do feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat for all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord; As I live, saith the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them”.

The Emperor and this servant of Rastafari both appear very absorbed in this exchange, on occasion of H.I.M.’s visit to Jamaica in April, 1966.

“My Sheep”: Many mockers and scorners of the WORD, may make fun of those sheep that hear HIS voice, or of the sheep of HIS pasture, but, through divine inspiration, and through studying to show one’s self approved, the Gnostic, spiritual meanings of these are eternal joys. The message of salvation has not wavered throughout all generations, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and HIS righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you”. H.I.M. Haile Selassie I reinforced to us that, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Who can resist an invitation so full of compassion?”

In Solomon’s prayer and dedication of the great temple that he had built for the honour of the Almighty at Jerusalem, he said, “Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:

Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,

And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of E’gypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron” (1 Kings 8 v 47-51).

Today’s macrocosm of the Temple of the Most High is not a building, but a body of spiritually compatible brothers and sisters. Jamaica is today’s microcosm of Beth’-le-hem Eph’ra-tah (see Micah 5 v 2)!

Since The Other Guy represents a world system, that system is bound to have its servants also, and a most important deceiver and a leader of that system should be expected to also come out of Jamaica (Judah). As per prophecy, we surely expect a “great falling away” to take place between Rastafari and Garveyism upon publication of this witness. If only for the discovery, as illustrated below, as follows:

IMMANUEL I = 9 SELASSIE I = 9 RASTAFARI = 9………………..999

MARCUS = 6 MOSIAH = 6 GARVEY = 6…………………666

Rev.13 v 18 reads, “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six”.

Col.3 v 5 reads, “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry”.

Isa.57 v 13-14 reads, “When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people”.

Africans!…Return your hearts and minds, not to the Gods of Egypt, of the Desert, or of the Inner Chamber; but, to where we began, from whom we came to be here. Africans, behold your God in the Word, Sound & Power of YAWH RASTAFARI! Thus will we save the world!
