What side of history do they belong- Right or wrong

When the history of Ghana comes to be written which side ,will some politicians expect to be, because all past governments will be mentioned in one way or the other when the history of Ghana is written ,but the most important aspect will be whether they will be on the right or wrong side of the history. Abraham Lincoln is known to have given Americans their independence from the British so he will be forever be remembered and celebrated at all times and so is the first President of Ghana Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, who led Ghana to fight for independence in 1957, but both former leaders were not the favorite of a lot of people during their political leadership and therefore, were not appreciated by all the people including those of the otherside . The name Rawlings also cannot be erased from the history books and will be judge by generations to come depending on their perceived ideology.

When President John Atta-Mills appointed these very young ,untested and lack of working experience into his newly formed government, a senior member of his own party, Ekow Spio Garbah was called them a team B and these young and inexperience team members have proved him and others who were not enthused about their appointments right and they are the ones who have caused the late president a lot of pain and discomfort by their action and utterances. Their actions caused Ghanaians to return their insult back to the late president and I was sad when the Defence Minister disclosed that the insults really hurt the late president so bad considering the gentleman he was, did not deserve that from no one in Ghana.

The deputy minister of Information Samuel Okudzeto -Ablakwa, Nii Lante Vanderpuije and Stan Dogbe both at the presidency, Koku Ayhidoho ,the disgraced director of communication at the presidency, deputy minsiter of interior Kobby Acheampong, Propaganda secretary Richard Quashigah, deputy minister of finance Fifi Akwetey, deputy minister of works and housing, Cuban trained vet Dr Hannah Bissaw, deputy minister for youth and sports Omane Boamah and Alex Segbefia, are so disrespectful, immature, arrogant ,rude and very indiscipline of no measure and sometimes I asked myself if they ever had any training growing up. As for Richard Quarshigah he is a big surprise from the person I knew at school and at Ghana Broacasting Corporation ,little did I know that he was such an arrongant, and disrespectful young man. I hope in future they have similar tributes pouring in for them even from their political opponents and that is the reason why am cautioning them to maintain a discipline life cause politics is not the end of life but more beyond.

These young politicians misinformed Ghanaians and played politics with the health status of the fine gentleman and the scholar until they have achieved their heart desire, because of their selfishness and greed. These boys also pushed the late president to perform functions his endurance could not sustain again to enable them to continue to use take advantage of the situation. When you have a terminal illness at the end stage you decline very fast and thats what happened to the late father of the nation.

I was priviledged to have known the very first propaganda secretary of NDC1 and former deputy minister for Greater Accra George Quaynor -Mettle ,he was an astute gentleman and a trained political science scholar from Russia, who used his newly acquired revolutionary ideology to recruit us into the June 4 Movement at the time. , he conducted himself well without attacking those who opposed the revolution but,defended the NDC 1 policies and programes without a single insult. Michael Nunoo,Yaw Akrasi Sarpong, Yaw Graham , Nubour Ababio and Juliana Nelson among others were the young intelligent, well mannered and educated personalities used to spread programms Am only bringing all this up because there are communication and propaganda teams all over the world and those of the NDC are the most indiscipline ,with no respect for themselves. The fact is if you do not have self respect or discipline how do you extend same to others and unfortunately these are the personalities around the late President Atta- Mills .

Its becoming very annoying the manner these boys are misconducting themselves and throwing caution to the wind in the eyes of Ghanaians without any recourse or being reprimanded by the party . Asiedu Nketiah ,Gyan- Boateng and Dr Kwabena Adjei are no different so what can they teach these young and inexperience politician when they are equally guilty of the same offence. Its a shame . These educated but indiscipline and ill mannered men and women will pay a high price in future for their disrespect for the old politicians .

When both the late Ato Austin and Kofi Totobi-Quakyi were running the Information ministry they were the official mouth piece of the government defending and propagating programs and policies while Quaynor-Mettle was also doing his own on the side without anyone insulting or always blaming the other side for their problems.Recently when the presidents health became the issue of national discussion Ablakwa-Okudzeto was on air to blame the opposition for starting the rumour but when Dr Kwabena Adjei was caught off record he was silent , another instance when the African Automobile Limited controversy broke out as young and inexperience politician he run to the press spreading false information until the substantive minister for Local Government at the time clarified the issue , put out there by a whole information minister and mouth piece of government.These boys continue to expose their lack of political maturity daily .

These young men mentioned above go about their politics, using lies, deceit,misrepresentation of facts and figures ,politising tertiary institutions ,insults,and attacking personality on the other side of the divide thereby rendering their credibity zero after their political lifes.

Am a trained journalist by profession and worked with Kojo Yankah, Joyce Aryee, Kofi Totobi-Quakyi, Dan Abodakpi, Mohammed Ibn Chambas, the late Edward Salia, Nuamah-Donkor ,Margeret Clark-Kwesi, Mike Gizo, Dan Akushie, D S Boateng ,Victor Selomey ,J H Owusu- Acheampong these were very fine gentle who never used inappropriate language or attack persons who were of divergent opinion about an issue affecting Ghanaians and till this day I hold these past office holders in high esteem and will always put them on the right side of history.

When the history of Ghana comes to be written do these arrogant and disrespectful young politicians want to be on the RIGHT or WRONG side. I guess its of no value to them what they do today .

Now that President Atta-Mills has joined his ancestors what will be the role of the Director of Operations at the Presidency, Director of Communication at the Presidency, and all the presidential staffers under President John Mahama because their roles were specific for the late president.
