The Indecisive Man Has Finally Made A Bomb Decision

The choice of Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang by John Mahama as his running mate is not worth talking about and is definitely not a masterstroke. Truth be told, most NDC voters are disappointed.

An NDC group calling itself Victory for Mahama has expressed their choice of Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as the running mate of John Mahama as disappointing.

They claim the pairing is a wrong choice. There is nothing extraordinary that she will do. Ghanaians witnessed the abysmal performance of NDC before, and there is nothing new John Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang can do, it brings nothing new.

The majority of Ghanaians are waiting for a disaster, due to what she did at the Ministry of Education. An incompetent Minister who didn't have compassion for Teachers, Students, and Workers. She was the architect for the scrapping of the following allowances.

1/ Teacher Training allowance which also led to the cancellation of Nursing Training allowance

2/ Lectures Research allowance.

3/ Paid only 3 months for more than 24 months back pay due to teachers.

4/ Again she supervised a debt-burdened education sector, some of which were:

a) SHS subsidy- GHc 24 million

b) Capitation grant- GHc 8 million

c) GETFund- GHc 3.7 billion

d) Feeding grants for Colleges of Education- GHc 36 million

e) Feeding grants for Special Schools- GHc 4.7 million

f) Not forgetting the supply of everything including common writing Chalk.

It's under the leadership of President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, and his able Vice-President Dr. Alhaji Mamudu Bawumia and the hardworking Minister of Education Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh that these much-needed allowances are restored, and all their arrears paid in full.

Her record in public life would be very hard for women to give her any space. She has not contributed to the cause of women's empowerment in the country.

She was one of the notable women who signed for the infamous Montie Three, for the petition for their release. These were the NDC Communicators who had threatened to rape the then Chief Justice Mrs. Georgina Mensah Wood.

Her background and experience is only grammar since she studied English and very, unfortunately, it will be difficult for her to chair the government's economic management team. She lacks charisma and political experience to match the brilliance of the Vice-President Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia.
