Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has been left out of his club’s squad for the UEFA Champions league.

The 26-year old has been dogged with injury in the last few months and adding him to the squad is a risk Juventus did not want to take.

Asamoah has been left out along with midfielder Simone Padoin with the Bianconeri's submitting only 23 players out of the required 25 . The deadline for clubs to submit their players ended at midnight on Tuesday, September 1.

The Old Ladies of Italiian football are in a very difficult group following their Champions league draw in Group D along with Manchester City, Sevilla and Borussia Monchengladbach.

After the draw in Monaco, the general manager of Juventus Beppe Marotta said on the club website;

“We are Juventus and we should not be afraid of anything or anybody."

“We will face everybody with the right mentality, looking to get the best result possible. Our optimism arises from a healthy realism and the awareness that we can get through.”

The full squad for Juventus will be; Buffon, Chiellini, Caceres, Khedira, Zaza, Marchisio, Morata, Pogba, Hernanes, Alex Sandro, Barzagli, Cuadrado, Mandzukic, Lemina, Bonucci, Dybala, Rugani, Neto, Lichtsteiner, Sturaro, Evra, Pereyra and Audero.
