NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
The Central Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) is to investigate reports that drivers from some second cycle institutions who were recently sent to Accra to fetch new vehicles the government had provided for some schools in the Central Region stole audio tapes from the vehicles.
The Regional Minister, Nana Ato Arthur, said this on Thursday when he presented 24 buses to 24 senior high schools in the region.

He said those found to have indulged in the act would be punished.

The beneficiary schools include the Adisadel and Ghana National colleges, Mfantsipim School, Wesley Girls, Efutu, Komenda and Mankessim Secondary Technical schools and the Winneba, Nsaba Presbyterian, Obrachire, Enyan-Denkyira and Boa-Amponsem Senior High schools.
The minister urged the heads of the beneficiary schools to ensure that the vehicles were well utilized.
Mrs Cecilia Kwakye Coffie, a representative of the regional education directorate who received the buses, thanked the government.
She said the vehicles would boost the smooth running of the schools and assured the minister that the theft of the audio tapes from the buses would be investigated.
