SDA Church to purchase musical instruments

The East Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church, Osino District, has decided to purchase musical instruments to enhance the activities in the church.
The Elder of the Church, Mr Daniel Amoako Dwomoh briefed Ghana News Agency during the fund raising towards the purchase of the instruments at Nsuapemso near Akim Osino.
He said the district planned to purchase the musical instrument to help improve upon the mode of worship at the church and also to satisfy the desire of many of the youth of the church.
Elder Dwomoh said the district was also constructing a church building at Nsuapemso, which was at the lintel level, a Pastor's quarters at Akim Osino and investing in a farming project.
He explained that the projects were being funded through annual harvests and special fund raising activities.
The Chairman for the occasion, Mr Ankomah Amaning observed that, the church could use music to win more souls for Jesus Christ.
An amount of 160 Ghana cedis was realized at the end of the function.
