Ghana President John Evans Atta Mills is expected to announce the much-awaited reward package for Black Satellites on Thursday following the team's historic feat of winning the Fifa World Youth Championship.
President Mills earlier decision to set up a committee to look into the package irked many Ghanaian soccer fans.
The announcement at the Osu Castle on Thursday morning will put to rest the uproar that has characterised the delay in rewarding the gallant Satellites.
Ghanasoccernet sources say each of the players will be presented with a 4-wheel car among other packages.
Head of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho told Ghanasoccernet:"Am sure we will all have to wait and see what the package will be."
"It was important we set up a committee to try and get other Ghanaians who wanted to reward the team in their own way so we all feel part of the history.
"We are happy as a nation and the victory indeed brought the nation together and the president can't wait to deliver the Government's package to the team."
The team will fly out to neighbouring Ivory Coast where President Laurent Gbagbo has pledged to reward the team.
The Satellites defeated rivals Brazil in a nail-bitting penalty shoot-out at the Cairo International stadium on 16 October.
