ADIYIAH IS PRIMED FOR ACTION Ghanaian striker Dominic Adiyiah will have a crack at next season's Uefa Champions League after his side Fredrikstad booked a qualification spot in the just ended Norwegian Tippeligaen.

The 19-year-old played only four times for his side as they sealed a second-placed finish.

Adiyiah moved to Norway in August but impressed during his short spell and will replace striker Tarik Elyounoussi who quit the club to join Dutch Eredivisie side SC Heerenveen.

He netted 13 times in last season's Ghanaian Premier League and he is currently with Ghana's Under-20 team at the Wafu youth tourney in Nigeria.

Meanwhile compatriot Anthony Annan's Rosenberg placed 5th with 39 points followed by Razak Pimpong's FK Viking.

Former Heart of Lions midfielder Komla Amewu's, Stromsgodset, missed the relegation trapdoor after finishing 4th-bottom.
