Wa, Nov.10, GNA - Mr. M.A. Seidu, former Wa Central NDC Member of Parliament on Thursday called on members of the party to unite and regain power in 2008.
He said Ghanaians were craving for a change because the NPP government had worsened their standard of living. Mr. Seidu made the call at the Wa Central NDC Constituency congress to elect new executives to steer affairs of the party for the next four years at Wa.
Alhaji Seidu Jamatutu was retained as Chairman, Mr. Alhassan Yakubu Vice Chairman, Mr. Khalid Abdul-Rahaman Secretary and Alhaji Ankilo Sumaila, Organizer.
Mr Seidu said it would be extremely difficult for the party to regain power if there was no unity and collaboration between the executive and the electorates. Mr. Khalid Mohamud, Principal of Nusrat Jahan Training College and the electoral officer, appealed to members of the party not to misconduct themselves during campaigns, but forge ahead in their quest for power in 2008.
