Hot Pito In African Calabash

By Nana Abrefa Kumi Dehyepa
Poem Hot Pito In African Calabash
APR 15, 2016 LISTEN

Filling, I say Ashhhh,
Serving me bowing, I feel wow
Slowly baby, never rush
Yeah, am feeling hotter than Ash
Cool me down African queen
Get the frown from your king
Lick, lick, licking your calabash
Drip, drip, drip, it in my throat
Onyame am under your oath
To touch this soft bread loaf.
I must confess this is sweet
I will choose this over car fleet
I'm feeling weak in my feet
As I sit to suck your sweet
Brewed in Africa,
Rolling from mama's big pot,
I must confess this is hot
Cool down, baby cool it down
Serve me, as I wear my crown
Let it clear my mind of filth
Because it’s stuck like silt
Baby it’s getting rough
Oh you are tough.
Serve me, baby serve me
Serve me your pito as I feel whole.
