President John Mahama’s new Interior Minister designate, Prosper Bani, will be vetted by Parliaments Appointments Committee, Monday.

He is expected to answer questions on the readiness of the police to ensure impartial discharge of their duties before, during and after the elections as well as other key security questions.

The former Chief of Staff is among ministers nominated recently by the President to serve in his government.

But their suitability for the job will be determined by the Appointments Committee of Parliament.

Chairman of the committee, Ebo Barton-Odro, says only ten supporters of the appointees will be allowed into the hall.

Central Regional Minister designate, Kweku Rickett Hagan, and the Eastern Regional Minister designate, Mavis Ama Frimpong, will also be vetted Monday.
