Asokwa Npp Deserves Better- Kaa Must Acknowledge Our Petition. Reelection In Asokwa Is A Must.
11.10.2015 LISTEN

We the people and delegates in the Asokwa constituency have followed closely the happenings at the NPP Asokwa constituency at the gross disrespect and unfair treatment metted out to Hon Maxwell Kofi Jumah before, during, and after the parliamentary candidate elections.

A wrong voters register was used in the asokwa primaries. Hon kofi jumah noticed it and was 'miraculously' handcuffed and put behind cells and arranged before court. Strange isn't it? Again the Asokwa election went on even though the regional NPP chairman (Wontumi) personally came to the premises to stop the election.

Hon Maxwell as a dedicated member of the NPP sent a petition to the party instead of taking the matter to court. It is more than 3 solid month now and so far the General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong have refused to acknowledge receipt of the petition for the appropriate quarters to work on. Moreover we have evidence to prove that Hon Patricia Appiagye in the company of some of the constituency executives met delegates at the electoral areas to inform them that there will never be a re-election since Hon Kofi Jumah petition will never be looked into. This they attributed to Kwabena Agyapong (KAA).

So after three month of waiting we the NPP sympathizers in Asokwa have come to this conclusion:

What happened on the 13th of June at the Asokwa Primaries was a grand scheme involving Kwabena Agyapong and some of the asokwa constituency executives to defame Hon Maxwell. The fact is if indeed Hon Maxwell Kofi Jumah tore up 36 pages of the NPP electoral album ( which mathmaticaly will contain about 144 names of delegates). Then how did these people vote and which album was used. How come that Hon Kofi was captured on camera in handcuffs but there is so far not even a single picture to show him tearing 36 pages. Is the NPP album a property of NPP or the Electoral Commission? How come the wrong register which over fifty names changed and or replaced used contrary to what was agreed upon by both parties. Why have Kwabena Agyapong blatantly refused to acknowledged receipt of the petition. Can we therefore conclude that our General Secretary has become both judge and jury on this Asokwa case and taken a biased position against Hon Kofi. That NPP leadership have taken already taken sides without hearing of the case? Three month is way too long.

Indeed Asokwa Deserves Better.
This problem must be rectified and a reelection done using an audited voters album in the asokwa primaries. We know that NPP as a party believes in the use of a clean and credible voters register.
