A Sekondi High Court yesterday adjourned the hearing of a motion for interim injunction on the Kwesimintsim constituency primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) brought against the party by one of the two aspirants in the constituency, Joe Mensah.
The suit followed rumours that Joe Mensah had been disqualified. This prompted him and some party members in the constituency to go to court to place an interim injunction on the primary.
However, the court had to adjourn the case yesterday because the lawyers for the parties said they needed ample time to study the issues raised in the motion by the plaintiffs and the response from the defendants.
