Asunafo North NDC Congratulates Alhaji Mohammed Kwaku Doku

Who is Alhaji Mohammed Kwaku Doku? What does he stand for? What are his attributes? Have you ever wondered how great men who have lived their lives not for personal gains, but societal good, who have sacrificed their lives for the development of the general good striving to leave a legacy to be remembered, live their lives outside the sociopolitical lens of the people they serve? Alhaji Mphammed Kwaku Doku, a man with many faces, predictably positive pedigree will be examined.

He is the President of the National Association of Local Authorities In Ghana (NALAG), a body of local government 'practitioners' which includes unit committee members, assemblymen/ women, presiding members of district/municipal/metropolitan assemblies, district/municipal/metropolitan chief executives. #MK-Doku as he is known amongst the youth is the Municipal Chief Executive of the Asunafo North Municipal Assembly in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. #MK-Doku was christened by the Chief of Goaso for his devotion to his work, lobbying skills and craving for infrastructural development in the municipality.

Politically, #MK-Doku is one whose credential cannot be matched with any one in the Municipality. Having worked with all the Johns NDC produced as President. One of the darling boys of JJ Rawlings, a faithful of JEA Mills and a loyalist of JD Mahama. A cadre, believer in the idea that every man has the right to live good life anywhere he is irrespective of their background, political or social background. A man who believes in doing work the right way to the benefit of the general good, through whom so many have benefited from yet humble not to publish the names as is the attitude of 'Ghanaman Politicians'. A man humble to the core.

#MK-Doku has a side that amazes me. A sportsman he is. A religious follower of Chelsea FC (probably because of Michael Essien or Drogba). #MK-Doku is a lover of the boys boys movement. He gives opportunities to young persons to put their gifts to use, serving as a father and a mentor to all. He is a great man to work with.

#MK-Doku has proven that a good name is better than riches. Being a leader is a sacrifice. One must have a large heart to listen and a patient posture. The Bible is indeed true. Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger.

On your election to the board of the Commonwealth Local Government Forum representing West Africa, the Asunafo NDC Youth Wing salutes you for yet another great feat. A man from Ahafo has made all of us proud. Brong Ahafo is humble. The NDC Youth Wing is humbled. Your knowledge of the Local Government Administration makes you fit for the new office.
