Stay Away From University Of Education, Winneba Elections Government Officials—STUNNAD WESTERN

Information reaching Stunnad Western indicates that some government officials are meddling in the ongoing Students Representative Council's election at University of Education, Winneba which is being held today.

We wish to state emphatically clear that those government officials should stay away from the ongoing SRC election

We are all aware of what happened at the just ended UG's elections which led to the arrest of One Forson by the BNI. This time round, we need a peaceful SRC election without fear n favour.

We all calling on the authorities of University of Education, Winneba and the electoral officers in charge of this ongoing election, to resist such government officials so as to have a transparent election.

We are also aware that government is sponsoring some candidates to redeem their mess at the just ended SRC election at legon, yet we don't want to mention names of these beneficiaries.

Government interference in de ongoing SRC election depicts their failure in managing the affairs of the economy.

What government must do now is to solve the numerous problems facing university education in the country, the high cost of fees, inadequate educational infrastructure and the drastic reduction in the quality of education.

Government instead of interfering in students election which no serious government will do, should rather pay the GETFUND, Pay the allowance of lecturers and Teachers and provide teaching and learning materials to our basic schools for effective curriculum activities.

We are very hopeful that our brothers and sisters in UEW will resist to any machinations and shenanigans moves to subvert the will of the masses.

We wish all aspirants well and may the best person win.
