Microsoft Mobile has launched its newest mobile device, Lumia 535, the first device among the Microsoft range of products after taking over from Nokia unto the Ghanaian market in Accra.

The Lumia 535 comes with the latest version of Windows Phone. And with regular over-the-air updates, comes with the newest software.

In class or at work? With Microsoft Office built in, and quick access to your files through One Drive, viewing and editing your documents is easy. And you get 15 GB of free One Drive storage – upload your photos and share them with friends in a private folder.

The 5 megapixel front camera is hard to stay away from, especially with the Lumia Selfie. The wider lens now makes it easier to take wefies, and Skype integration helps enhance the video calls on-the-go. The main camera also has a flash, unlike the 530.

The Lumia 535 Dual Sim weighs 146g and measures 140.2×72.4x 8.8 mm. It is similar to the single-SIM variant, except for the additional SIM card slot.The Lumia 535 and its Dual SIM version come with 8GB internal storage, which can expanded up to 128GB with an external micro SD card.

The Lumia 535 is a good option for a simple smartphone. The phone comes in six different colours – black, gray, white, orange, green and blue – with interchangeable back covers.

Mr. Kola Osinowo, Marketing Officer, Microsoft West Africa, launching the mobile device said the device will help consumers manage their time effectively.

He stated that, consumers of their products are key to their survival, hence the decision to give them a mobile device that will aid them to do more at a given time to increase productivity.

“As a productivity network, we believe in giving time to our consumers to achieve and do more within a particular time frame to increase productivity” he said.

At the launch, winners of the # MAKEITHAPPEN promo was rewarded their prices.

Each of the 10 winners received a Lumia 535. The winners include YunusSalamatu, Tim Rogers, Felicia Parkah, Emmanuel Afful , Jerry Hukpati, Ishmael Seidu, Ebenezer Coffie , Mariam Adams, Jestinajesty, and Mustapha Tunde.

Present at the launch of the mobile device were Juliet Ibrahim, brand ambassador of Microsoft Mobile and other celebrities.
