NPP Wontumi to lead another NPP Demo in Kumasi
DEC 4, 2014 LISTEN

In an unrelentless fashion, the ever vociferous and firebrand Chairman of the Ashanti region NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako (alias Wontumi) is marshaling forces to hit the streets of the garden city of Kumasi in what has been predicted by political analyst as yet another gargantuan march against the unpopular policies of the Mahama-led administration.

The popular march scheduled to take place on Wednesday December 10th 2014, is seeking to mobilize thousands of ordinary Ghanaians and party supporters from across the region to demonstrate their resentment over the continous hardship conditions within the country.

The Ashanti regional Chairman speaking to the press explained that living standards are worsening by the day and most Ghanaians struggling to feed whiles economic activities are gradually and slowly grinding to a halt.

He recalled the current power crisis, the collapse of industry, the numerous job losses, the deteriorating health care (NHIS) system, higher utility bills, poor environmental and sanitation conditions among others

Mr. Antwi Boasiako charged all Ghanaians to be inspired by the Biblical admonishment of Proverbs 31:8-9, which urges humanity to speak for the dumb and voiceless, whiles seeking the cause of the poor and needy.

He therefore called on all well-meaning Ghanaians to as a civil right, join the December 10th 2014 demonstration to show their displeasure at governments' insensitivity.
