The Ghanaian woman at the centre of the 12.5 kilogram cocaine bust in the UK, Nayele Ametefeh, will be handed her sentence on January 5, 2014 after she pleaded guilty to the offence of drug trafficking at the Isleworth Crown Court, UK.

Nayele, whose trial was presided over by His Honour Judge Edmunds QC, was held via a video link from Her Majesty's Prison.

Nayele Ametefeh was arrested on November 10 at the Heathrow Airport after attempting to enter the UK with the cocaine in her hand luggage.
