Dr Amoako Tuffuor
DR AMOAKO TUFFUOR, a top member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has admonished members of his party to embrace peace.

He said after successfully going to polls to elect Nana Akufo-Addo as its party flagbearer for 2016, what the NPP needs now is total peace.

Dr Amoako Tuffuor, therefore, cautioned supporters of Nana Akufo-Addo to refrain from teasing supporters of Alan Kyeremanten and Addai-Nimoh 'because Nana Akufo-Addo's victory is a victory for the entire NPP members.'

Dr Amoako Tuffuor said he saw Nana Akufo-Addo's victory as a victory for the NPP so there was no need for him to jubilate.

Instead of jubilating, he said he rather used the occasion to pray to God to grant total peace and unity in the NPP from now till Ghana goes to polls in 2016.

Dr Amoako Tuffuor urged NPP members, especially those who supported Nana Akufo-Addo to follow his lead by working for the party's peace.

He noted that with unity, there is no way the NPP would not oust the non-performing NDC government from political office in 2016.

Dr Amoako Tuffuor congratulated Alan Kyeremanten and Addai-Nimoh who lost the polls for a brace fight, saying the NPP was the winner in the elections.
