Shut Up AFAG!

Shut Up AFAG!
24.09.2014 LISTEN

We the La Dade-Kotopon Communications team of the NDC wants to dare the Alliance for Accountable Governance to hit the streets as they proposed.

AFAG is fastly becoming notorious in its media appearances. It decides when to chide government and issue threats. All these allegations are malicious, unfounded, devilish, uninformed, and baseless. The threats are empty and the trumpeters are empty barrels; they are capable of making most noise on the media platform.

AFAG, having its root from the NPP Party, a Party which couldn't recuse itself from corruption, looting and unbridled sale of Ga lands to their cronies, has left the big log in its eyes to pursue an unclear peg in another's nose.

In their Press Conference dated 24th September, 2014, addressed by Dr. Ayew Afriyie was totally uncalled for. He raised the following issues in his statement:

1. Extravagance by Government officials;
2. The credibility of CHRAJ;
3. That they don't trust the investigation being conducted;

4. That they call for the resignation or sack of the CHRAJ boss; and

5. That they would hit the streets next week.
What a shameful claim by a Doctor of Academics who should know better. Which Party is more extravagant than the NPP when millions were spent on dressing horses for the Ghana at 50 celebrations?

Which Party has less credibility than the NPP when state bungalows were looted left, right andcentre by the government officials? Which Party bought hotels and Malls for their children with state funds? Which Party put Ga lands on “donkomi” for sale to Party bigwigs? Which Party again built AU villages for Ghana at 50 celebrations with state funds and afterwards sold them at pittances to their members?

Clueless AFAG must come again. Can AFAG tell us who is responsible for the burning of the markets; can they tell Ghanaians who is responsible for the breakdown of the Gas pipeline earlier this year; can they also tell us who is responsible for the bombing of a transformer around Cantonments? It's a shame……

Hiding behind the NPP to champion its nefarious activities in the name of 'pressure group' cannot be allowed anymore. We the youth of La shall face them head-on.

Even though the country faced some challenges earlier this year, for the past 6 weeks the economy is taking up its shape. The following activities are taking place:

1. Production industries are being revived;
2. Ghana has made moves for a new flight (New Airline);

3. The Cedi is stabilizing against the Dollar, the Euro and the Pounds; and

4. Import substitution industries are being encouraged to reduce importation of certain items like poultry, rice, dressed chicken, second-hand electrical gadgets, etc.

AFAG should be ashamed of itself for having some of its members, stand on platforms like “Let My Vote Count” to make unsavory statements like to bomb school buildings, kill school children, burn markets, and generally cause mayhem, if the supreme court rules in favour of President John Mahama. Hopeson Adorye was publicly praised for assaulting his fellow man by dirty slaps. Can we trust this backward and barbaric group?

We therefore dare AFAG to organize a Demonstration; the people of La will counter it and expose them of their evil machinations against the country.

Thanks.
Long live the truth
Short live national saboteurs
