According to him, the club had positioned itself to go all out to promote Mr. Ahenkorah's good works and advocate support for the businessman to advance his charity work in the communities.

Mr. Henry Osei-Owusu said Carlos, as a philanthropist, had touched so many lives in the metropolis, especially in the poverty-stricken areas, by offering a helping hand to orphans, destitute, the aged and patients at the various hospitals. He has also supported the education of numerous children.

'Carlos has contributed immensely to society by donating generously towards projects and programmes meant for the upkeep of the vulnerable and underprivileged,' the president recounted.

Against this backdrop, the Carlos Fun Club, which also has the objective of bringing together all the members of the NPP in the Tema West Constituency, according Henry Osei-Owusu, would also sensitize residents to promote sanitation and hygiene, in line with the vision of ensuring a clean Tema and Ghana in general.

He disclosed that the club has four thematic areas to tackle namely, education, sports, social welfare and politics, to help in the determination of political direction in Tema to the benefit of all.

Paul Azuri Sampana, former chairman of the party in the Tema West Constituency, commended the women for the initiative, which she said would go a long way to solidify the unity among the women in the party.

Mr. Sampana urged the members to move down to the constituency and branch levels to let the public know about the good steps Mr. Ahenkorah had taken, and also stick to their mandate of promoting sanitation and unity.
