Ghana In A State Of Emergency

Ghana In A State Of Emergency
06.02.2013 LISTEN

No water, No electricity, bad roads, filth and disease ridden communities, pollution, Sodom and Gomorrah , corrupt officials, vote disputes, slums and badly planned communities, disrespect of private property, bad trains and rail lines, Chinese illegal miners, deforestation…………………………………….. I could go on and on and on and on and on…….

What about our educational system, strikes here, strikes there strikes everywhere. One more thing, the health sector doctors, pharmacists or some kind are always on some strike of a kind, and everyone should get a jeep like car, since it means you are above the traffic laws, you just need to put your hazard lights on and you are allowed to drive dangerously.

Even hawkers now believe it is their right to take over pavements and streets, how did we get this backward as a country?

In my opinion we are a failing state, it is happening slowly but surely, and I am getting ready to leave this country, and everyone should do the same, let us leave it to the greedy and clueless leadership of this bleeding country.

The leadership in the country is clueless to the real issues facing the Ghanaian on the street, what they more concern about is buying state assets very cheaply, opening fuel stations, building mansions and amassing stolen wealth.

Who should we blame for this tragedy befalling Ghana, after all those most affected by them voted them into power, and since some of our leaders come from very poor backgrounds they need to steal to ensure they pull all their family and generations from poverty no matter the cost to bleeding Ghana, now failing Ghana, but for how long will we tolerate such thievery.

Leaders who send their wards and family abroad for educations and medicals; leaving you and me to visit the death traps called hospitals in Ghana, poor us, not me, 'what is good for the goose is good for the gander'.

Ghana is indeed failing and we must declare a state of emergency, we must change the way we vote, the individual Ghanaian must now act very selfishly to survive, you must try and get all you can from the system after all that's what our esteemed leaders are showing us, politics is the road to riches.

We must leave by the slogan 'everyone for himself, God for us all', then may be people will vote for individuals and appoint leaders who can make you and me richer and better off, leaders who will ensure we have constant and affordable power, ensure we have quality health and educational systems. Leaders who will ensure we have great road networks and will not steal our use their position to amass wealth at our cost.

By becoming a selfish Ghanaian we can finally stop voting on partisan lines and rather vote on effectiveness and efficiency, we will vote on records and ability, so by God's grace we can lift Ghana out of this state of Emergency, no water, no electricity and corrupt leadership is evidence of a failing state, we must declare a state of emergency.

GbG-God bless Ghana.
