Trotro, Korlye-Bu and Trains for our Government

Trotro, Korlye-Bu and Trains for our Government
11.01.2013 LISTEN

Below is a picture of the British Transport minister, this picture was taken from the Mail –Online.

Read the caption below the picture, and we as a people must fight to ensure a poor country like Ghana is not burden with crazy bills because officials do not patronize local facilities, are they better than them or us?

We must promote made in Ghana and Ghana facilities, and this can only happen when the people in control use and see the state of local facilities and resources.

Why should those in government send their wards out of the country for education, when they must ensure we have quality education all round?

Why should those in government seek medical attention outside when they claim our health system is good?

Why do those in government always use motorcades to beat traffic, how can they improve the situation when they are not affected by it?

Why does the transport minister not use the trains and metro mass transport buses?

Why do the metropolitan bosses not go shopping in the local markets to see the stench, filth and disease in these areas?

Why do the police feel they should not be in traffic and have the audacity to drive recklessly on the sides of the roads, pavements, why?

Why are those who fight for the abolishment of the death penalty and rights of criminals and rapist not living in the slumps and gutters of Ghana?

The evidence is empirical, when those in authority are treated like those who voted them into power things improve, if you are lucky and a minster comes to live in your area, the roads are done, the drains are made and street lighting starts working, wonderful; so imagine what will happen when ministers and those in power start using the trains, the trotros, stop using motorcades, start patronizing our local hospitals, trust me Ghana will transformed.

God bless Ghana (GbG).
