
The St. Monica's Old Girls Association (USA) recently held a fundraiser dinner and a picnic in Maryland ,USA, for all the women who attended St. Monica's, one of Ghana's premiere schools,located in Mampong-Ashanti. The fundraiser dance was successful and the alum raised thousands of dollars which will be used to improve the quality of life for students at St. Monicas.
The St. Monica's Old Girls Association (USA) also held a picnic in Adelphi, Maryland for all the former students and their families. The picnic was overflowing with wonderful food and energized with great music, which was provided by DJ Kwame. The St. Monica's Old Girls Association (USA), formed in 2011, currently has approximately 80 members, and is led by Ms. Nyanor, the current President. At the St. Monica's Old Girls Association (USA) picnic, the following classes were represented: 1968, 1974,1978,1979,1980, 1982,1983,1985,1986, 1987,1988, 1990, 1991.
