
President John Evans Atta Mills says he is set for the 2012 election with the strongest belief that Ghanaians will honour him again with a second term.
His campaign message according to Director of Communications at the Castle, Koku Anyidoho would be based on peace and development.
Briefing journalists Thursday, he said the NDC will officially launch the campaign in August.
According to Mr Anyidoho, the President has re-emphasised Ghana would come out of the elections unscathed.
He reiterated that President Mills is still committed to the Better Ghana Agenda, anchored on investing in people, building a resilient and robust economy, providing jobs and running an open, transparent and accountable governance.
Koku Anyidoho also confirmed that President Mills, and Former President Rawlings have met adding that the feedback from the rank and file of the party is positive.
According to him, the NDC is united for the December general elections.
