“The State of our economy” speech delivered by the 2012 Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, on the occasion of the 5th Ferdinand Ayim Memorial Lectures will be aired this Sunday, 27th May 2012, on GTV.
Dr Bawumia's speech, which will be aired between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, will afford the general public the opportunity to, once again, watch Nana Akufo-Addo's running mate provide expert and detailed analysis of the current state of Ghana's economy.
Dr Bawumia's lecture also provided Ghanaians with insights into the relationship between inflation and other economic variables.
The NPP running mate aided by graphical diagrams of graphs will explain to Ghanaians why, amongst others, the attainment of single digit inflation does not seem to be having the required impact on exchange rate stability, interest rates, and the cost of living.

I hope by the grace of God when NPP ascend to power they will implement good fiscal policies aside the single digit inflation to enable money in our pockets.
