CR NPP Organizer predicts massive win for Akufo-Addo
02.05.2012 LISTEN

Agona Kwanyako (C/R), May 2, GNA- Mr Agyei Baffour, the Central Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has predicted a massive win for the party's presidential and parliamentary candidates in the December polls.

He said there are indications that the people had decided to vote for the NPP due to bad governance of the NDC.

Mr Baffour made this known when he addressed supporters of the party as part of activities the NPP organised to mark the May Day at Kwanyako in the Agona East constituency.

The supporters were led by Mr John Kwesi Agyabeng, MP for Agona East, and Mr James Owusu Barnes, Assemblyman for Kwanyako Ahorso-Odumasi Electoral Area to undertake a clean-up exercise in the town.

He said the government under President John Atta Mills had mismanaged social interventions created by former President John Agyekum Kufuor to relieve Ghanaians of some of their burden.

He said the mass cocoa spraying exercise, National Health Insurance Scheme, free maternal delivery and the NationalYouth Employment Programme were not achieving their aims and objectives.

Mr Baffour said Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had the capacity to deliver the nation from its economic mess and hardship created by the NDC government.

He said Nana Akufo-Addo still stood by his promise to make Senior High School free and added that the prices of goods had sharply gone up as a result of bad economic management by the government.

Mr Agyabeng cautioned supporters to desist from voting “skirt and blouse” which could affect presidential position of Nana Akufo-Addo.

Mr Owusu Barnes appealed to the youth to avoid political violence that could create mayhem during and after the elections.
