
President John Evans Atta Mills has nominated Mr Samuel Oppong as Agona West Municipal Chief Executive to replace Mr E.K. Tetteh, whose appointment has been revoked with immediate effect.
A statement signed in Accra on Wednesday by Mr Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, said the outgoing MCE was requested to properly handover to the Central Regional Minister who would exercise oversight responsibility over the Municipality.
