2012 Will be A Better Year-Okudzeto Ablakwa
26.12.2011 LISTEN

Deputy Minister for Information, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has assured people of North Tongu and Ghanaians as a whole that the year 2012 will be better and called on all to work hard, walk in God's favour and keep their hearts sincere as they resolve to contribute meaningfully in making North Tongu, Ghana and humanity better.

This was contained in a Christmas and New Year message posted on his website, www.okudzetoablakwa.com.

The Deputy Minister who is also a parliamentary aspirant for the North Tongu Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) used the opportunity to wish Ghanaians a very merry Christmas and a 2012 full of God's blessings and protection.

"In the spirit of Christmas let us remember that just as God loved the world so much that he gave us his only begotten son so should we love one another especially those in need, dejected and frustrated. It is only when we extend a hand of help and spread love to others that we make meaning of the essence of Christmas." the message added

He called on all Ghanaians to be honest in accepting their short comings and strong enough to avoid them in future and be determined to reach new heights in 2012.

According to the message, he was indeed humbled by the tremendous support and excitement that greeted his announcement to contest the North Tongu Parliamentary Primaries. Adding, such support and goodwill only reminds him of the expectations of the people that must never be taken for granted.

The message thanked all Ghanaians for their prayers and support that has certainly sustained him through 2011.
