As the saying goes, “Monkeys play by sizes”.
Presidential Aide, Stanislav Dogbe has been quoted as challenging Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom to “…within a week come up with a proposal that will help alleviate the flooding situation in the capital”. Who is Dogbe? We are not amused by this at all. Young propagandists like Dogbe must learn to walk with their equals and not attempt to joke with serious national matters.
The topic of the floods that affected the Accra-Tema area is not something to play propaganda games with. Precious lives were lost. Businesses have suffered millions of Ghana Cedis worth of losses in equipment, facilities, raw materials and production interruption. Many people have suffered personal losses that cannot be quantified. It is in this regard that Dr. Nduom asked ALL Ghanaians to stop reacting to such situations and start being proactive to find solutions that will prevent the damages caused from reoccurring. For instance, Dr. Nduom drew attention to the fact that rivers have been blocked or disturbed in many areas and solutions to re-establish them or re-direct the flow of water are very necessary. He called for the establishment of a National Initiative – an all inclusive one - to bring together engineers, planners, economists, etc. to find solutions that would receive multi-party blessing to be implemented with a sense of urgency.
So where does Dogbe come in? His NDC Administration was voted into power to SOLVE problems, NOT to spew propaganda. Government is for serious minds. If Dogbe's NDC Administration cannot cope with the problems it faces, then it should announce this boldly to Ghanaians so that we know how to find our own solutions whenever we are confronted by problems. We believe that Presidential Aides are engaged to help the President to manage the affairs of the country. If they have nothing positive to contribute to making Ghana a better place, then they should leave serious-minded people like Dr. Nduom alone.
This is NOT the time for mindless propaganda. Dogbe should take note. He should go and find playmates of his size to play with!

Interestingly I am not a politician but 1st National Savings & Loans Ltd covered my signboard and broke my signpost too and all efforts to resolve the issue amicably has been unyielding inspite of the numerous phone calls, emails and letters sent to the directors & managers. Thats how far some cooperate bodies can go bullying others.I have considered taking legal action if this issue is not resolved, hence am appealing to Dr Nduom (Director of 1st National Savings and Loans Ltd) through this med...
