24 hour economy: NPP is dazed because of their inconsistencies - NDC

The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Hon. Joseph Yamin have criticized the New Patriotic Party labelling the government as inconsistent due to its stance on the 24-hour economy proposed by the NDC.

Hon. Yamin, in an interview with Nana Yaw Asiamah in Worawora, said, the NPP always rubbish every good policy the NDC initiates. He stated that the 24-hour economy policy is good and will help Ghana's economy yet the NPP are doing propaganda with it

Hon. Yamin said the NPP is confused and inconsistent in its quest to denigrate the policy.

"Some of them say the 24-hour economy is not possible, others say it is already in the system. So what is their stance? The point is the NDC is about to create an enabling environment for both private and public sectors to run 24 hours.

"Now in some hospitals, take district hospitals for instance. During the day you will see about five 5 doctors on duty and at night just a doctor doing the work alone. So the policy will make 5 doctors work at night too, making room for more employment, and more people accessing health care. It takes only a confused person not to understand this" Hon Yamin stated.
