There’s no sector of this country today that is better than it was in 2016 when NDC handed power to NPP – Sammy Gyamfi

National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi says every sector of the country has been destroyed by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking to Citi TV, he argued that the current government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Vice Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has failed the people.

“The dollar then was GHS5, is now GHS13.50pesewas, to the importer what is the use of Bawumia? Where are the strong economic fundamentals, where the concrete roads he promised? Where are the harbours he promised people of Cape Coast.

“The reason why Dr. Bawumia can talk like this is because he has no respect for the truth. And he has no respect for the good people of this country. Either than that he should be displaying remorse for the crime he and his boss [President Akufo-Addo] and the entire NPP have committed against the people of Ghana

“There’s no sector of this country today, there’s no metrics today which is better today than it was in 2016 when we handed over power to them,” Sammy Gyamfi said.

In the interview, Sammy Gyamfi lambasted Dr. Mahmudu Bawumia, accusing him of incompetence.

The NDC National Communications Officer also argued that Dr. Bawumia has failed in his role as Vice President and cannot be trusted to lead the country as President.

“Mates [conductors] are relevant and important, you can be a good driver but with a bad mate you will fail. This mate, Dr. Bawumia is a very incompetent, corrupt, clueless mate. And that is why he has failed in the primary responsibilities President Akufo-Addo entrusted in him, which is the management of the economy,” Sammy Gyamfi shared.
