On appearing on the Nollywood scene, Cossy became an instant success as her name was being bandied as one that could play any movie role. Pronto, movie producers came rushing her with scripts that focused more on her heavy endowment. She did not disappoint, as she flaunted her fully loaded front view before producers' cameras. From her role in The Only Nigerian Girl, Outkast, Itohan, and Fuji Gyration, Cossy proved that she was indeed queen of the divas. Then, suddenly, the Anambra-born actress took a break. This came after rumours of her featuring in x-rated movies of which she came out to deny the rumours. Armed with a degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Administration, she went back to the drawing board. The result was the opening of an ultra modern studio to cater for her music career which recently got a boost with a single currently enjoying airplay titled Do something. Adia Ukoyen spoke with the diminutive actress who is nothing like the picture painted of her. Indeed, she could pass for an innocent young girl rather than the sex symbol she represents.

People say you are all about your breasts since your acting and singing careers did not exactly flourish, is this true?

I am not interested in what people with inferiority complex think of me. I am good in what I do; movies, and music. I have fans that can't get enough of my talent and love me just as I am. So I really could not be too bothered about these comments. People should not be quick to judge; they should just wait and see what I am up too.

My new single is enjoying tremendous airplay. I am not singing because I have nothing to do. Singing is sometime I love to do and I intend to make a good impact with it. It is on the radio and is played in every club. It will get better when the video is out.

What gives you the guts to show off your breasts as you do?

That's called individual differences; what's sober to you may not be to me. Mind you, I could be out somewhere today and not be recognized because I do not go everywhere flaunting my breasts. There is more to me than my breasts. I have got brains too, you know.

Cossy Orjiakor What was growing up like for you?

I am from a well to do family so I never lacked the basic things in life. My parents and siblings adore me, are proud of me and I love them too. I am a brand and to tell you the truth, my brand style has worked well for me. I am comfortable. I do not have to rely solely on artiste fees as I am a flourishing business woman.

What kind of business do you do?

I do a lot of consultancy work for all manner of people from movies, to advertising, branding of products and the likes and I am well paid for these services. My singing career is also taking shape.

How do your parents and your siblings react to you and these breasts exposing record that you have?

They don't see boobs when they look at me. They see a well educated, pretty young lady with prospects.

Are you in a relationship? If yes, how does the man see you?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess when you see him you can ask him.

What is your opinion about the call in the national assembly to pass into law the banning of indecent dressing?

That's a moral issue; they can't deliberate on that if truly we are in democracy. Are our problems not more than indecent dressing? It is shocking how myopic we human beings get about trivialities. If a grown up chooses to flaunt her body parts, what is the problem with that? Everybody is entitled to dress as it pleases him or her. When you go abroad, do you not see people dress worse than what we have here? I understand that in some places, sex actually takes place in public. By the time this country has all that the man on the street needs to live peacefully and happily, his brains will wake up to what society expects from him.

When do you hope to settle down and when you do, how many children do you wish to have?

I love and cherish children. But I am not ready to settle down now. I have married sisters and I see there kids as mine.
