Netizens have expressed concerns about a potential divorce, with some followers speculating that Nana Ama removed the ring due to disrespect from her husband, Maxwell.

Meanwhile, in Ghanaian tradition, it is considered taboo for a married woman to remove her ring in public without officially going through a divorce process.

Nana Ama McBrown married her longtime boyfriend, Maxwell Mawu Mensah, on August 5, 2016, and they welcomed their daughter, Maxine, in February 2019, in Canada.
