The acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), COP John Kudalor, has given the assurance that his charges will discharge their duties free of any bias during elections 2016 to ensure absolute peace.

“We are going to be very professional, politically, I am going to be very neutral to ensure that the people of this country get the best of security services…,” COP Kudalor told Adomonline.com.

He added: “We won’t let you down…we have no reason to fail this country…and we would be very professional…to ensure that in spite of the turmoil in the sub-region, Ghana would still be a beacon of peace.”

COP Kudalor also advised Ghanaians to play their role effectively as law abiding citizens in order to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the election year.

“We are appealing to the general public to also abide by the rules governing elections so that Ghana can still be a beacon of hope in Africa,” the former Director of Operations of the Ghana Police Service said.

COP Kudalor opined he is going to run an open door policy as IGP.
