With nine days to the world cup, the Ghana Football Association continues to receive donations from individuals and organizations in support of Ghana's inaugural campaign.
The latest to join the long list of sponsors for the Black Stars is Unique Insurance Company.
The company has announced a 1.15 billion cedi insurance package for the 23 players of the team and additional 50 million cedis cash.
Managing Director of Unique Insurance Company, Victor Kusi Yeboah, told Joy Sports that the donation is to encourage the players to feel secured against injuries.
Acting GFA President Awuah Nyamekye lauded Unique Insurance Company for the donation and expects that the package will take care of the injury worries which may arise during the campaign.
