Ghanaian player Albert Adomah has completed his transfer move from English Premier League team Middlesbrough to Championship club Aston Villa.

The 28-year-old joins international teammate Jordan Ayew who joined the Championship club from FC Lorient at the start of last season.

Adomah helped Middlesbrough qualify from the English Championship to the English Premier League last season.

Aston Villa who were relegated from the Premier League last season are looking to strengthen their squad for a quick return next season.

The club who sacked two managers last season appointed former Chelsea coach Roberto Di Matteo to take charge of their Championship season after the drop.
