Kevin-Prince Boateng needed 31 minutes to open his La Liga scoring account in Monday night's Spanish Primera Division victory over Valencia.
After a tumultuous career which has seen him play at Hertha Berlin, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, AC Milan (twice) and Schalke, Boateng decided to join Las Palmas on a one-year contact this summer.
The Ghanaian, on his debut for the Spanish side, dove to steer home a fine header following a whipping cross from former Liverpool winger Nabil El Zhar.
It represented the perfect start to Boateng, but the 29-year-old is by no means the first Ghana player to score on his club debut.
