Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has binned reports claiming he has placed Ghanaian defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah in a clear-out list.
Recent media reports claimed the former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager has included the former Ajax Amsterdam starlet in a clear-out lists that features Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and James Wilson.
Fosu-Mensah was left out of the United squad that mauled Turkish giants Galatasaray and Mourinho has explained why the 18-year-old was not in his squad for the game.
"Fosu-Mensah is not so much injured. But he has this little thing that we want to be careful with given that he is young. He is separate from the group until he is 100 per cent back," he told the press.
Mensah's agent Jonathan Barnett has slammed those claims, saying: 'There is no truth in it. These reports are complete rubbish."
