Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong has been adjudged the club's player of the month of July.
The skipper rose above a strong challenge from fellow defender Ahmed Adams and goalkeeper Ernest Sowah to pick the gong.
Frimpong, 25, has played several positions for the club this season following injuries and suspension to some of the club's defenders.
And his effort has not gone unnoticed.
The player, on Sunday, was presented with a plaque and GHC 1000 cash price.
The presentation which was done during the Super Clash at the Baba Yara and was received by operations manager George Kennedy on behalf of the player.
