Former Black Stars defender Shilla Illiasu claims talks with unnamed Asian club

Former Ghana defender Shilla Illiasu claims he is in talks with an unnamed Asian country as he seeks to get his career back on track.

The 33-year-old has been out of action for the past three years due to a career threatening knee injury.

The refined centre-back has not given up on his quest to return to the field.

"Honestly speaking, there're a lot in the pipeline regarding offers," he told Kickgh.com.

"I can tell you that I may be playing in one of the Asian top-flight clubs and I'll not disclose the name of the country and the club to you."
