Ghana forward Jordan Ayew inspired Aston Villa to come from a goal down to win 2-1 against non-league side Telford in a pre-season game on Saturday.
The 24-year-old shouldered the Villans by equalising on 81 minutes before turning provider for former Liverpool defender Aly Cissokho to win the game for Roberto di Matteo's men.
Telford sprang into the lead through 30-year-old Dave Hibbert as early as the 3rd minute but Ayew ensured di Matteo continued his 100% run in the pre-season.
First he confidently fired home from inside of the box after keeping his composure despite coming under pressure from opposition defenders.
He then set up the former Olympique Lyon man to tilt the game in the Championship side's favour.
Ayew, who has become a target for both Turkish side Galatasaray and French side Bordeaux, has now scored three pre-season goals for Villa.
