Sports News Nuru Sulley: Ghana must not be complacent in World Cup qualifiers
JUL 4, 2016 LISTEN

Ghanaian defender Nuru Sulley has warned the Black Stars from being complacent in the 2018 World Cup qualifying group saying 'every team is now a powerhouse.'

The former Hearts of Oak captain insists that Ghana must not underrate any of the teams in the group since it will be disastrous to do so.

Speaking to GHANAsoccernet.com, Nuru Sulley said 'Football today is no respecter of any nation.'

'All the teams in our group are capable of qualifying so we must not underrate any team.

'All we need to do is to prepare well for any team and play each team with the same level of determination and seriousness and In Sha Allah we shall qualify,' he added.

Ghana was in Group E with Egypt, Congo and Uganda.
The 22-year old Nuru Sulley is currently playing for Alanyaspor after guiding them to the Turkish Super Lig.
