A management member of New Edubiase FC, Joe Abu Salem has been fined an amount of GH¢5,000.00 and banned from taking part in any football related activity for a period a one-match.
Salam invaded the field after their home defeat to Dreams FC, rushed to attack the referee amidst insults and threatened to kill him.
He was charged with one count and breached of Articles 35(2), 35(7d) and 35(4) of the GFA General Regulations and Articles 56 and 58 of the Disciplinary Code.
In another development the GFA Disciplinary Committee dismissed the charge against President of New Edubiase FC, Abdul Salam Yakubu in respect of their Ghana Premier League match against Dreams FC played in Obuasi.
