Ghana and Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong has urged Ghanaians to forgive and move on, in the wake of Sulley Muntari's apology for a 2014 Fifa World Cup bust-up.
Muntari was sent home ahead of Ghana's last group game with Portugal for an "unprovoked physical attack" on Black Stars Management Committee member Moses Armah 'Parker' during a disagreement over outstanding player appearance fees.
Subsequently handed an indefinite suspension from the national set-up, the former Inter Milan man initially hesitated, but finally yielded an apology - two years after the incident in Brazil.
