Hardworking and influential Inter Allies midfielder Gockel Ahortor remains very optimistic that his side will avoid the drop at the end of the Ghana Premier League this season despite their poor show in the first round.
To him, the club has escaped relegation before after being at the bottom of the table and will surely repeat that feat.
"We have experienced such hardship before in the league.
'In our maiden season in the top flight, we worked hard to avoid the drop after languishing bottom in the first round so it's no surprise,' Gockel said.
'We know what to do to survive at the end of the season" Gockel said on Metro FM in Kumasi.
Inter Allies FC are currently lying 14th on the log with just a point to move out of the relegation zone.
They host Sekondi Hasaacas at home in their first match of the second round which starts in two weeks.
