Juventus ace Kwadwo Asamoah says he is keen on returning to the Ghana national team but says wants to be fully fit.
The midfielder has battled injuries the past two seasons and has not featured for the Black Stars since then.
Asamoah missed last year's 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Equatorial Guinea and ahead of the upcoming tournament in Gabon next January.
But the versatile player wants to get more games under his belt to be fully fit.
"For the Black Stars, I am ready to come back. I have spoken with the coach, the President and most of the people at the Ghana Football Association,' he told Joy Sports.
"I am hoping to come back strongly and join the team. Just that for the past one year, I have not been playing consistently so I will be very happy to join the team as soon as possible.
"If everything is good, if there is no injury, I will be happy to join the team."
