Ghana beat Ethiopia 2-1 in the Mini Afcon Tournament currently ongoing in Turkey to go top of Group A on Sunday.

Goals from Abdul Aziz Allotey and Sumaila Mohammed ensured the Ghanaian players plying their trade in the Turkish lower divisions lifted the flag of Ghana high.

Ghana opened the scoring in the 30th minute through Alloety's strike but the Ethiopians pulled level on the stroke of half time.

A 70th minute sensational drive from Sumaila Mohammed restored the lead for the Ghanaians.

The win means that Ghana is on top of Group A with 4 points followed by Ethiopia with 3 points while Cameroon and Senegal follow with 2 points and a point respectively.

Ghana will come up against Senegal on Friday in the final group game.

The Mini Afcon is a tournament which is played yearly by African players plying their trade in the Turkish leagues to determine which country has the best players in the European country.
